21.12.2005 Qendra për Nisma Ligjore Qytetare, nga dt. 15.12.05 ka nisur zbatimin e një programi të ri lidhur me rritjen e aksesit të Gruas në sistemin e Drejtësisë, duke ofruar ndihmë ligjore dhe psiko-sociale falas për gratë e vajzat e dhunuara, ose që nuk kanë mjete të nevojshme financiare për të patur një avokat. Ky program i ri, i financuar nga Ambasada Hollandeze në Tiranë, ju fton të ndihmoni me sugjerimet tuaja dhe të bashkëpunoni për të gjitha aktivitetet e parashikuara.

20.12.2005 Representatives of Iskorak, Kontra associations and the Croatian Women Network expressed their disapproval of the composition of the Commission on Health Education of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, and the approach the implementation of sexual education in Croatia.

19.12.2005 Agency for Gender Equality of BiH, of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees, and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will organize the first Gender Equality Week (Gender Week) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, taking place from 19th until 22nd December, 2005.

08.12.2005 Të martën e kaluar, më 6 Dhjetor, Agjencia Zviceriane për Bashkëpunim dhe Zhvillim hapi zyrtarisht fushatën “Sëbashku në Luftën kundër Dhunës në Familje”. Fushata do të zbatohet në fund të 2005 dhe është pjesë e projektit “Puna e Komunitetit Polic”.

08.12.2005 Rrjeti i Grupeve të Grave të Kosovës – RRGGK, ka mbajtur të shtunën në Prishtinë, Kuvendin e tretë zgjedhor, ku është analizuar puna e Rrjetit, janë përzgjedhur anëtare të reja të Bordit si dhe janë përcaktuar bazat e programeve që do të zbatohen gjatë vitit 2006.

08.12.2005 Last Tuesday, December 6, the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development officially launched the “Together in the Fight Against Domestic Violence” campaign. The campaign will be implemented by the end of 2005, and is a part of the “Police Community Work” project.

06.12.2005 The Iskorak and Kontra associations, at the round-table discussion “Introducing Hate Crimes in the Croatian Penal Law”, held yesterday, came forward with proposed changes in the Penal Law, proposing the introduction of “hate crime” as criminal offence.

05.12.2005 This input on behalf of Kosovar women in civil society was initiated and written by the Kosovar Gender Studies Center (KGSC). However, the center benefited greatly from the input it received from experts in this area from Asebe, the Centre for Protection of Women and Children (CPWC), Kosovo Women’s Network (KWN), Safe House, Liria, and Women’s Wellness Centre, non-governmental organizations in Kosovo.

02.12.2005 The CURE Foundation from Sarajevo implements the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina. From the start of the campaign, November 25, a number of educative and creative actions have taken place, implemented through volunteer engagement and in cooperation with a number of civil initiatives in B&H.

01.12.2005 Fondacija CURE Sarajevo realizira kampanju 16. dana aktivizma protiv nasilja na osnovu roda/spola u Bosni i Hercegovini. Od početka kampanje, 25. novembra do danas odvijalo se mnoštvo edukativnih i kreativnih akcija koje se realiziraju volonterski i u saradnji sa mnogim civilnim inicijativama koje djeluju u BiH.

Dhuna kundër grave është një problem është shumë i përhapur në të gjithë botën. Një studim ndërkombëtar mbi “Dhunën në familje” thotë se: “problem është shumë i fshehur në shoqëri dhe i ka rrënjët shumë të thella”. Raporti i OBSH-së (Organizata Botërore e Shëndetsisë) tregon se një në gjashtë gra në gjithë botën është sulmuar apo rrahur nga një burrë në shtëpinë e saj.
