31.07.2006 Shoqata ambientaliste Osijecki Zeleni i bëri thirrje qeverisë së Kroacisë të përdorë Komisionin e Paqes në OKB, dhe veçanërisht statusin e saj si një vend kanditat për anëtarësim të plotë në BE, të bëjë përkjekje të forta drejt ndalimit të menjëhershëm të luftës në Liban.

31.07.2006 Nën moton "STOP Luftës së Re në Liban”, Shoqëria e Miqësisë Maqedono-Arabe dhe miqtë e tyre organizuan një protestë paqesore para Ambasadës së Shteteve të Bashkuara të Amerikës në Shkup të shtunën, 29 gusht, duke kërkuar që lufta e fundit në Liban të ndalet menjëherë.
